Designing a connected app for CES Las Vegas - the most advanced tech event, to help solve KOA was a project beyond business success metrics into actual human success metrics. A true reward of design!

TRANSPARENCY
In an intelligent app with health-sensitive data, It’s not enough for an AI to provide an answer. The user needs to know why it arrived to a certain since ‘black box’ design is a recipe for distrust.
While the intelligent system can suggest rehabilitation exercises based on trained algorithms, humans stay at the forefront of the decision making process and can override/modify the level of difficulty at any given point.
The system is intelligent, yet susceptible to uncommon and unexpected human actions. However, when they are flagged as an abnormal yet acceptable action, they adapt accordingly.
